Innovations in Vacuum Deposited Functional Metal Oxide Coatings
Call for Papers
“The last decade has witnessed many advances in thin film vacuum coating technologies. The range of materials and applications has diversified and vacuum deposited coatings and thin films are now established as key enabling technologies for many industrial sectors and emerging markets. This meeting will bring together scientists and technologists involved in the deposition and characterisation of functional metal oxide coatings from a wide spectrum of application areas with the aim of sharing knowledge, ideas and experiences.
This meeting will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions.
The generalised themes are:
| • • • • |
New materials and emerging applications Novel deposition techniques and processes Nanostructured designs Modelling, characterisation and properties |
Dr Mark Baker - Chairman of morning Session
Prof Peter Kelly - Chairman of afternoon Session
Deadline Date for Paper Submission: 3rd September 2010
This meeting will be an important opportunity to network with leaders in thin film coating technologies. For those new to these technologies this will be an excellent chance for professional development.
Original contributions are welcomed on all aspects of thin film coating technologies. We particularly invite contributions in the following: Thin film optics • Transparent conducting oxides • Fuel cells and batteries • Sensors • Superconductors • Photocatalysis • Electroluminescence • Nanostructured and Multilayer architectures• Large area coatings • Electrochromics• Low temperature processes • Coating onto complex substrates |
